Okay, no one reads this thing, and so I'm probably not going to get any answers unless I stand in the long line of SixApart feeders-back but just in case you stumbled on this blog today and want to give this girl a hand here...
What is the deal with the arrangement of communities here and why does it make no sense to me? Maybe it's because this is my sober time and nothing ever makes sense to me then, but that's the only way altered states of consciousness are properly enjoyed, to have significant amounts of sobriety between them, so it's a curse I must bear.
But why can't I change the names of my "Neighbourhoods" to something other than Friends, Family and Friends and Family, because that's retarded?
(Yes, I've been watching too much South Park lately. What else can I do for a guilty pleasure during sobriety time?)
But seriously, this is just stupid, and I've looked and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it. I'm a little unclear on this concept of Neighborhoods to begin with.
Maybe I should just go back to Livejournal.
They've made all their frigging design templates look like the ones here, anyway...
Another thing. There's this little box I'm s'pozedta check if my post "may be offensive". To whom? I mean, most television, pop music, celebrity gossip and all the other stupid ads on Vox are totally offensive to ME, but my drug posts are surely offensive to SOMEONE.
This is kind of a dumb thing, really, because exactly whose standards am I supposed to use here?
It's shit like this that gives us vague and ominous things like the Patriot Act. Or to be more exact, causes us to tolerate them, or be more inclined towards tolerating the intolerable.
Yes, I find the Patriot Act very, VERY offensive. But that doesn't mean it should be hidden from the public. Are you getting my point here?
